Domain Email Questions

I'm sure the answers to my questions are simple and probably right in front of me.

Which of the 3 e-mail servers do we need to go to to check for incoming mail to our domain accounts? I have just the default e-mail set up for now. patch59@patch59.d21c.com

I filled out the info at SquirrelMail since I am familiar with that one. I can access the cpanel and get logged in with no problem. I sent a couple of test messages to my webtv address and they showed up fine. Sent a couple of test messages to my d21c.com address, but am not sure where to find them. Went to the inbox at Squirrelmail and it remains empty. Is there a link where we are supposed to pick which one of the 3 we want incoming mail to go to?

Not sure what choices need to make. Thanks in advance. ~59

Domain E-mail Questions

Got part of my answer already. The 3rd of 3 test e-mails sent to the domain addy showed up when I checked at Squirrelmail. Not sure what happened to the first 2 or what I did to make the 3rd show up. ~59

There is only one

Your mail goes to a mailbox, not to a webmail program.

You can access that mailbox with any client you wish - with Squirrelmail webmail, with Horde webmail, with Neomail webmail, with a POP3 client, or if you have an IMAP client, you can even use it to read your mail.

There are slightly different capabilities in the programs. One of them has a calendar, if I recall correctly.

If you're happy with Squirrelmail, use it. Some people switch back and forth, and I'd think that would drive me crazy, but then, I've already hitch-hiked most of THAT distance already.

I don't like to see obscurantist sesquipedalianisms where simple words will do. It's not a matter of etymology but one of clarity.
