Walgreens Email

Hi Sherry--

The mail button on the file manager page works just fine for me with one exception: When I send an image file to Save@mywalgreens.com for printing, it either never arrives or Walgreens won't acknowledge it. The email just disappears. Any clues on how I can make this work?

Thanks--Jim

Re: walgreens email

Hi Jim,

I don't know. I went over there to walgreens and created an account to try and test it, and I can't get an emailed photo to show up there either. I'm on a pc but used a webtv address. I never got the confirmation email from them after sending the photo. I tried it several times. You're right, it just disappears. I even tried it with two different browsers, same result. I'm not sure what's wrong. Paul says that maybe they're not recognizing the return address if it says webtv but comes from an ip that doesn't belong to webtv. Maybe we can try and find an address over there and get someone at walgreens to check and see if they're receiving the emails, and if so, why they're not being added to the albums. I'm not sure if anyone would respond or not, but it might be worth a try. I'll let you know if we can figure anything out.

Sherry

Which address

The Walgreen's site lists two different email addresses - save@mywalgreens.com and save@mywalgreensphoto.com

Which address are you using?

I don't like to see obscurantist sesquipedalianisms where simple words will do. It's not a matter of etymology but one of clarity.

Hi Paul--I'm using

Hi Paul--

I'm using save@mywalgreens.com. If it helps any, I've been mailing from the file manager to jimmaroo@msn.com and forwarding to walgreens from there and that works, but it's an extra step that adds up when sending a dozen pictures one at a time.

Thanks--Jim
