I guess this is business.
I Renewed via PayPal Jan 14, 2007 $54/100megs
Good until Feb 2, 2008
This doesn't show on my file manager.
It's not that I'm worried about losing my account because I am sure I would be notified if I was in arrears or Domania thought I was in arrears, but I don't understand why the date doesn't roll over as to when the next due date is when a payment is made. I certainly can not change it.
I almost prefer the old method whenwe were notified by email when we paid and I could put a Directory and name it as to when the next due date is. I do do the due date Directory so I know when it is. But some peeps might forget or get confused if it doesn't roll over. I had to post on this re my other account. I shouldn't have to I don't think.
Anyway, everyone in the whole wide world have a great day, ok? And my thoughts go to those in Florida struck by tornados. Terrible. In the UP of Michigan (or rather in my yard) my snowfence finally reached the one foot mark. Strange winter.

We get a different notice
We get a different notice from PayPal, depending on a lot of different factors. When people use the invoicer utility, we get one type of email, when they go directly to the PayPal site, there's a different type of email, and when PayPal is set up to automatically charge their card, there's a third type of email. That makes it difficult to set up software that automatically updates your due date.
The number of spoofed PayPal emails makes it unwise to set up software that automatically does that update - I got one this morning that said I'd just paid for a $1200 computer - and sometimes (as in your case, this time), we don't get the email.
When I head to the bank to deposit checks that people have mailed me - I'm headed there tomorrow morning - I update the due dates for those people, and usually I compare the PayPal website with the emails I've received, making sure that everything has been updated. And now, I check Google Checkout as well.
Things were a lot simpler years ago, when I was selling tomatoes at a stand along the road. Most people paid me in coins, and a few would give me a dollar bill. Back then, if someone got a bushel of tomatoes for canning, they might give me a check, and that seemed to complicate matters greatly. After all, I could stack the coins neatly in stacks of $1, and groups of $5, but a check for $7.50 didn't fit neatly into that system.
I ought not complain. There are a few Domania customers in Europe, and AmishHosting currently has customers on five continents, and everybody finds it convenient to pay in dollars. One of these days, I'm going to have to learn how to deal in farthings, yen, pesos, dinars, lek, and florins.
Yes, it's been a strange winter. It's snowing at the minute, but it's a pretty light snow. And it's been cold, but I don't like talking cold weather with you Yoopers. It makes me feel like a wimp, having felt sorry for my cold tootsies when you folks so easily one-up me. (Or, since we're talking about cold, should the term be one-down instead of one-up?)
I hadn't watched the news today, so your post was the first I'd heard of the Florida twisters. Talk about strange! This is awfully early for tornadoes. They usually start about March. My brother has in-laws in Lady Lake. I hope they're OK....
