As everyone that has had a new toy knows, if you want to keep it a long time, keep it usable, and keep it fun, it needs to be well maintained. LoL! I'm not saying a word...

Does this have something to do with my comment about being Dannilynn's father? Some people stopped by yesterday, wanting to do a DNA test. It might have been Maury Povich; I'm not sure. Anyhow, I told them that mine was past the sell date, and I'd thrown it all out.

Yesterday was a happy day here in Lancaster County. It's always happy on Fasnacht Day, it seems, and what with the temperature getting up to 34F, it was especially joyous. People were getting out, digging out, eating Fasnachts, and kids were going out to play.

My redhead thought it was fun to nip at the snow shovel with every scoop. She must've eaten a quart or more of snow before she came inside. The vet gave her some antibiotic for an infection in her ear, and it took two days, but now she's really playful once again.

That made Blondie and me especially happy. Blondie celebrated by going out to play....
