drupal??

As I understand it, your sig appears only in comments, I believe, and when you change your sig, it affects your new posts, not posts you have previously made. It appears in the TEXTAREA, when you go to post a comment, so you can actually change it every time. You know, "Currently listening to '99 Tears' as I write this"

If you use full HTML, you'll need to select it as the input format; the default only allows A, EM, STRONG, CITE, CODE, UL, OL, LI, DL, DT, and DD tags. (It's been a LONG time since I've used DT and DD tags....)

With any luck, Sherry will soon be teaching us all how to use this software.

Star, the drupal.org link works for me. Which links in your file mgr are you having problems with?

I know, this is all confusing for everyone. We are continuing to work on it, and hopefully we will be able to make it easier to use for all of us. :)

the dupal site says i have the wrong password, i c/c/ pasted it, it doesnt work? i changed my password in this group, and even tryed the new password at that dupal site, still says i have the wrong password?? what is that dupal site anyway? do we need it for anything?
oh yea, all the tool links were dead working bad about 2 weeks or so?, its been like the page needs to be reloded or something?? I havent checked today...

Star, we're still working on it, and not everything is activated yet. No, you don't have to log in to the drupal site -- it's a community based, open source project which is connected to the software we are using for the blog and forum.. but you don't need to log in over there.

I haven't noticed any of the tool links in the file manager not working, so hopefully yours are okay now.

Yes, I did notice that we have to put in a subject line in a reply too. It's definitely a lot different from the other forum. :)

Some sites running this software elect to exchange authorization of registered users. That means our registered users could post there and their registered users could post here. At present, we do not have that capability enabled.

It makes drive-by postings a lot easier. If you had a site that discusses news and politics, especially a slow one, drive-by postings might help enliven a discussion. With an established community, though, you want to encourage people to pull up a chair, and stay awhile.

Sherry is still very unfamiliar with this software, so it's going to take a while before the site is configured the way she wants it.

Filling in the subject line is optional. If you leave it empty, the software will automatically come up with something.
